Localized Adiposity

Localized fat deposits are unsightly due to the accumulation of fat in specific areas of the body.

Why does fat accumulate in these areas?

There are several factors that influence the distribution of adipose tissue. In women (gynoid biotype), it is typically localized to the sides, in the periumbilical and suprapubic, the thighs and in the inner region of the knee. In men (android biotype), adipose deposits are typically accumulated in the abdomen. It is also possible to have mixed biotypes.

Is it possible to avoid surgery?

The surgery is based on the treatment of liposuction and liposculpture. In patients who do not wish to face surgery, there are various medical-aesthetic targeted techniques, which can be combined.

What are the available treatments to eliminate localized fat?

At Ortho-bio-med, we provide functional therapies designed to activate the catabolism of adipose tissue (lipolysis) in association with different activation methods of connective tissue in order to achieve a natural and harmonious remodelling.

What are the techniques used in connection with the lipolysis treatment?

At Ortho-bio-med, we obtain excellent results thanks to a combination of several methods: BioShape (link), midas (link), detox (link).

In addition, if necessary, we will run a blood test or other diagnostic tests in order to understand if there are at the base of the problem of functional imbalances.

How many sessions are needed?

The number of sessions varies depending on the case, and the treatment program is completely customized.

Are there any side effects?

The therapy respects the physiology of the tissue, and there will be no side effects, with the exception of common effects due to puncture (for the lipolysis treatment).
